Pre-cold front fish from Fowler Lake
As you no doubt know the lake is small. The deepest spot is 15'. I've fished all along the dam and never done any good. Hope you bring a boat. All the structure I've put out is only accessable by boat. All structures are marked with milk jug floats. The only dead standing tree on the East side of the lake is where I got into the biggest ones I caught yesterday. Just to the North of that tree, about 12' there is a stump field about 8X10. Got to be very stelthy and not bump the tree. I only know this because I saw the stumps on my graph, after I caught the fish. I've bumped the tree before and it shuts off the fish just like you hit switch.
The jigs are custom hand made. A guy over by St. Louis ask me to represent his product and let people see and use this jig. I can get these from him. Sorry I don't have a price since he supplies me at no cost. He and his partner just merged with another company and I don't have his new company's name. This is the first time I've ever used jigs with sickle hooks...I'll probably NEVER go back to regular "J" hooks. If you've not tried them, do. You'll be happy you did. I hope this has helped.

Nice pics and good report. Mapped it out last night and it's a little further than I thought for me, about 70 miles. Would give it a try if it was closer. Looks like quality is decent. I'll probably continue to stay close for now, but will add that one to my "one of these days" crappie lake list :D
