Thread: Catarac Lake

Went down to the lake today from 11a.m. to 5pm kept 25 but overall size was small fished in 11 to 18 fow Beautiful Day to be on the Lake. Think We will drive down and try again tomorrow. Fishinfred

Thanks for the report Fishinfred. Leaves are turning, humidity is low (on days it is not raining ), nip in the air in the morning, warm in the afternoon... what's not to like. Wondering, what affect did the rain have on the lake....was it stained up any?

I was down there Saturday and the water was pretty well stained. Water temp was still 63 degrees and the fish that I caught were in 8-12 feet of water. I also saw a couple of spider riggers and they were catching some pretty nice ones working around points and ledges. Not sure how deep they were fishing, but they had to be catching suspended fish.
