Thread: weekend

Any fishin stories from this weekend?? turned out to be a nice weekend, although I was unable to get away to the lake.

Went to Monroe yesterday afternoon. Long poled some tree tops to see if they have moved in yet. Had a few dinks. Had few beers. Had a good time. It's a great time to be on the lake with the trees turning and a little bite in the air.

Hit EC Saturday afternoon with BillBob and the fishing sucked - but the company was great Made a change and went back to Cataract on Sunday and caught a limit plus (36) of decent fish - the usual fare, 9.5"-12.5" (see below). EC had completely turned over; Cataract is probably pretty close to completing. Sunday's fish were scattered between 12'-20' and we had to move around a lot, plucking a few off each spot. Some areas were stained and others not so much. Surface temps 61.5 at EC and 63.5 at Cataract. Cataract rose back to summer pool but is very fishable at the moment. Traffic was light on both lakes.
