At Summit, I would try right out front of the campground cove on the row of trees that seperate the cove from the main lake (14 fow), and if you don't get any there move back into the cove , off the weed edge in (10 fow) right were the cove splits. If its calm, out by the big island, you can chase crappie, as you will actually see them hitting the shad balls near the surface and you cast right into them with a glow tubes.
Praire Creek, is better for crappie, especially at night. If your at PC bait shop, the cove that you can see from there, looking toward the camping area, right off the break (about 35 yards from shore) (17 fow) in the front of the cove.
Good luck, to you and your nephew.
