went out yesterday morning and fish till about noon. Caught 13 keepers and released a few small ones. We were fishing about 6-8 feet deep in a 12-15 feet of water. Picked them all up around stumps. We would pick a few and move to the next stump and get a couple. Was not fast and furious, but enough to keep it interesting. The water level is still up. Some of the stumps that were normally out of water were just under so be careful. We managed to park the boat on one. Also picked up several good size cats. All
were caught on minnows. Seemed nothing wanted a jig. Sure beat working!!!
