Default Patoka weekend of the 20th

Hey all-
Coming down to Patoka for the first time on 6-20-08 gonna be staying in a houseboatfor about 4 days. Fist thing is how muddy is the water ? Secondly, what should we expect as far as how deep to look for slabs....any night time bite going on....my mom has terminal cancer and she wanted the kids to get together with her for what may be the last time so I'm hopin to get some good weather for her and maybe some fish for us boys. Any help would be great

lake is clear but high, catching crappie 12-15'in the timber, night bite under bridges at South Lick and 145 Bridges doing well, Back of Painter Creek or back of South Lick, But be advised i do not fish the main lake much. to much traffic durning day and night. watch the 10 mph after dark and keep running lights on or you will get a ticket. they are watching close this year
