I was there Sunday morning. Water temp was 65 degrees on the surface. We were bass fishing came across a tree that fell into 16-18 feet of water I saw fish stacked up on it. I told my brother in law theres crappie on this top. We tried tossing jigs for about 10 min and had 6 crappie in that time. Then he wanted to go back to bass fishing lol. So we did. Got more fish in the freezer than I need anyways. Bass weren't hitting at all we didn't catch a bass. Next day I caught one on a small local lake that went 2 1/2 to 3 pounds just a guess I released it quickly so it lives for another fisherman.
