The bite has been really good... I have been using a Mr. Crappie rattling bobber, with tube jigs (white, gray, pinks, purple, black) combos, about 2 foot down (no tip). If there is no wind you have to work much harder, and the afternoon, when the suns at its highest point, seems to be peak time. I still see crappies that haven't spawned, but its coming to a close really fast, full moon and all. This has been a great spring season, and I'm looking forward to targeting some pre-spawn gills... Looking for a mounter to go with my big fish of the season...

3.8 lbs, 18", and let it go, so hopefully next year she 4+... I heard of a couple unoffical 4 pounders caught in Indiana this spring all in the same lake. So if anybody is a member on this site that caught them... post that pic! I love MONSTER CRAPPIE!

Went out with a friend on Sat had 50 over 10" in 3 hours. Went with wife on Sun and she flat kicked my butt, she had one 16" on second cast. Caught 50 in 2 hours over 10". Went with my brother today off of the causeway at 236th, caught 15 in about 2 hours over 10".
