I have been looking to getting over to trying the Osborne Ramp fishing but everything seems detrimental to fishing there for the moment looking at the cost of gas to get there and the iffy weather forecasts almost everytime I check and now you say you wade knee deep to get on the ramp- would have to pack my waders. When would you guess the lake will be more "normal"?

They have reduced the outflow at Patoka to baisally nothing 100 cubic feet per second. Thats so the farmers downriver can plant their crops.

I fished Osborn ramp three times last week. Water is still high, but clear - can see down two-three feet. Temp was about 71. Caught a lot of crappie - over 100, but very few really nice ones. Catfish seem to be hitting as are hybrids. Thursday was my last day and the fish turned off. Used both tubes and minnows, nothing worked.
