I used to fish Brookville every year, but I haven't been there for quite some time now. If I were you, I would try the ledges on the other side of the lake. To get there, when you exit mounds campground, go directly toward the other side of the MAIN LAKE. There are four or five good ledges and points there. Just exit the cove that the campground is in and go across the main body of water (heading west). Use white curly tailed grubs on 1/8 oz leadheads (deep water). I have caught a lot of crappie, striper and walleye in this very spot. Just vertical jig them, drop the bait to the bottom bounce it a time or two and let it rest. If this doesn't produce, when you are trolling around the lake, always look for the bait balls. They look like floating vegetation on the sonar, but they are normally baitfish. Good Luck
