Finally got Uncle sams check. Headed to Reelfoot for 3 days of bluegill fishing. Hope I have some pics to share when I get back.

Did not do as good as we expected, but still had a great time. Never really got into them but picked up a fish here and there when we could get out of the wind. Caught lots of catfish, and a few slabs, a couple drums, and a dogfish. Asian carp were jumping clear out of the water while we ran across the lake. Here are a few pics of some of the bluegill we caught.

not a bad mess really. Could have been a lot worse. did you guys just keep the gills?

Yes, we kept the gills and crappie and ate them Sat and Sun. We threw all the catfish back.

Love going to reelfoot but have'nt been in several years. If you cant catch it at the right time you can lay into some good ones. Seems like I never catch it at the right time though.
