Default I'm going

I am going to give it a try. Going to get out early to try to beat the wind, but it looks like it will start picking up around 11 or 12.

Default Cataract

I was planning to go to Cataract. Do you think Raccoon would be any better?

I'll be heading to Mississinewa with NO MINNOWS! I actually went there today in the car just to see if the water was muddy. The water looked great and wish I would of brought the boat. I did bring some poles and caught 5 in less than 3 FOW using jigs. 3 of them were larger than 9 inches and the biggest was 11.

I like fishing raccoon. alot of things and ways to catch fish. raccoon should be 6-8 ft low by now, but it's not. I catch alot in the fall when the lake is falling fishin shallow stumps with jigs. not sure if it will be better than cataract. its probably what u feel more confident in fishin. Not sure where i'm going yet either. will decide in the morn i guess.

Did anyone do any good fishin sunday? Where and how good? Just wondering how the weather affected the fishin. any reports would be great.

It was terrible for me. fished from 12-7pm with only 3 keeper fish over 10". caught alot of small 8-9"ers. fished from shallow wood and rock to deep brush. the bites were very soft and hard to detect in 15-20mph winds. I should have stayed home and watched colts and nascar. O'well it was still fishin.

Default Caught some on Sunday

Sorry for the delayed response,

I went out with my 9 year old son and a friend with his 9 year old son. We had a great time, catching about 40 fish and keeping around 20. Out of the 20, I probably would have only kept between 10-15 of them, but the boys slid a few small ones in the basket. What can I say, I wanted to make sure they had a good time. Larget fish was 11 1/2-12. We fished in 10-15 fow with jigs and minnows. No particular colors were any better than others, we were using darker colors with chatruse and some all chartruse.

Two guys at the cleaning station reported the Cunot side to be muddy. We only fished the park side.

I thought that was U Drew. I should have stopped by and said hi. I was in the red and white skeeter bassboat. Me and my buddy was fishin some stumps just 100 yards from u across front ramp. I seen U catch a few. We were catchin fish, just small. When I do decide to keep fish, I don't keep any under 10". We got to the lake later than I wanted, 3 guys at cleaning station when we got there had 70. No offense to them, but they were all small under 10". Thats 70 less keepers for next year to catch.
