    hey everyone.I'm new to this forum,I appriciate any advice.I'm going out tommarow on a private stipmine near Peoria .I was wandering if anyone is catching any crappies yet?any bluegills?

    They are biting if you can find them. My brother and I went to lake Evergreen yesterday, it took us a couple of hours to find them but then we caught 50 or 60 8 to 10 inchers.

    Them Old Strip Pits Produce Some Big Slabs.. Went Out Yesterday With A Buddy And Hit Two Pits... Weve Caught Plenty Of Nice Crappie Out Of Them...never Did See That Overcast Yesterday And The Sun Was Beaming Through.. Not Good For These Strip Pits, Boy That Water Was Clear And We Didnt Catch A Slab.. The Wind Didnt Help Either..
