hey birdman what types of areas should we target this time of year, I don't have ANY experience fishing this early in the spring!
Me personally- iv always had luck this time of year mid lake, north. Findlay area, coal shaft and down to bo woods. If you know the lake and brush piles id hit them in the o idk 10-20 foot range. Iv actually had the best luck targeting standing timber and casting corks to them this time of year. Fish are usually suspended on em so find the depth the majority are holdin at and fish that range.
I would also ask lakeshelbyvilleguide...he has probably been over there more times than me this year and can usually point ya in the right direction as well!

That is exactly what I was planning on trying and if that isn't working I can hit some or find some brush and try those.... if I only ordered my SI a couple weeks ago.....
well think i will head to the river in the morning. not going to drive 100 miles to fight 30 mph winds. catch you guys on the next trip up.
