Is the Lake Stop the ONLY place to weight in at? Seems a bit out of the way for someone who might live to the south or east? Still sounds like a fun time, will be looking for more info in the future on the tourneys. Thanks

Sorry Fishnfwl but the folks at The Lake Stop were very copperative with basicly taking on the work part of these contests. I hope to do a similar contest for a big buck from Fayette,Bond and Clinton counties later this fall but a lot of things will need to be worked out on that one yet. But yes as it stands The Lake Stop is the only place to weigh. As far as the 50/50 catfish thing I hope to get places on the south end envolved with that as well. I just dont know of anywhere on the east side. No stores or buisness on the east side like Boulder or Crackersneck. If you know of some please get with me on them

Nothing to be sorry about, I can understand that fully, actually I was just asking this as a buddy seen a flyer I guess and asked me about it, I go to the Lake Stop all the time when at Carlyle, but he lives over off 50 to the east, so I thought I would ask ya, I will also ask him if he knows of anywhere on that side of the lake that would be interested in helping y'all out..... Think the daughter and I might give this a shot and join up this year, never hurts anyway....more fun in the fishing trips eh?

We would more than appreciate the donations, it would just add to the fun.
As for the river. Let me put it out in clear words to the Public. We wieghed all the facts we could come up with what people would do for $200.00. Well I am sure that crappie all accross the country pretty much look like those in Carlyle Lake. We hope that the biggest crappie weighed is from the lake itself but there is access from the lake to the North and East Forks and even out from the lake and up the Kaskaskia. We are not going to be giving lie detector tests. I am sure that there will be those who would take advantage of this fact. If the case exist that $200.00 means the welfare of a family and a person would so have to dishonor themself please let me know maybe we can get finacial help. But if the fish comes from below the dam and its caught on a pole and line I would weigh it without reservation. Its kind of like dont ask dont tell. PM me with your phone # I would like to talk to you.
