Sorry for the late post been busy as of late. Put in at Wilborn Creek and went up river and fish for about two hours without one bite water was 33* So we turned our rig around and headed south to find some warmer waters. Went to a area that we have done good in the past this time of year. Seen the gulls diving in the area that meant one thing, shad was present which is one ingredient needed to make the recipe work and we already had windand lots of sun. After 3 color changes and 4-5 depth changes we were leaving the live well lid open. We fell 4 short of a two man limit and about and hour on time. If we had went there first we would have filled our limit easily. Crappie were spitting up shad in the boat and live well. Sorry no pictures didn't have camera on board.

Sounds like a good day. Coal shaft area has always been a good place to look for us late winter and after ice out. Stay on em![]()
