Just found this site. I'm glad I did, It looks awesome! Lots of good information from what I have read already. I live right where Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri meet. I do alot of fishing. Snagging, flatheading, bluecats, smallmouth, etc. But my favorite has to be dipping for crappie in the shallows during spawn. Just wondering if you guys could throw out suggestions on the best time to fish for the crappie in the shallows from where you're from? Around here i have my best luck dipping for crappie in May. My best day has actually been my birthday May 26th. Theres been a few years ive had more luck in early may, though.
My brother and I are going to do some traveling this year and would love to try a few different lakes within 4-5 hours.
