Thread: Shelbyville 11/28/08

My brother and I got on the water at the Whitley ramp about 6:45 this morning and in a little over an hour we had our 2 man limit . No pictures this time . My wife had the camera . We fished lay downs and brush piles till the wind made us look for other areas to fish . The fish we were catching were anywhere from 4 to 9 feet deep . We were using chartreuse and red/chartreuse tubes on 1/16 ounce jigs . The bite slowed a bit and I changed to pink/chartruse tubes and it seemed like the fish just turned on . We were just having way to much fun . Water temp was 36 to 37 degrees . Looks like bad weather is going to be coming our way . O by the way I met lamplighter today . It was nice talking to you . Get out and get some before the weather turns off bad .

Yes you beat us to the ramp!! we were the second ones there and had our limit withink maybe 2 hours...i wont tell anyone where we saw you guys fishing!!!!! great day on the water..

ya, we were very picky with the ones we were keepin...we were in search of our unders and had to sort through about 50 before we got it..did yall get on em before you ahd to go? man that is just a sweet rig you and your dad got..that merc just purrs!!

yeah we like it a lot. Sure beats the crap out of our old johnson thats for sure!

We went over and fished some brush piles along the bank where we caught em 2 days ago and tore em up again. Didnt keep anything, but we easily had our limit. It was nothing short of a blast.

hey kevin we ended up two limits. it nice meeting someone from crappie .com. will put some pic on later. uneless the lake freezes up will be back up there soon.
