Thread: Little Grassy 11-23-08

Fish bit well today but only in 2 little areas which is typical of the lake. Anywhere from 12-15 feet around wood. I kept 56 in about 5 1/2 hours. Threw back about 10. The ones I kept range from 9.5 to 12 inches with the biggest being 14. Had one monster at the side of the boat that I lost...maybe a 17. For sure the largest one Ive had on my line in several years. I got an 18out of Little Grassy way back in 1987. They are there...but its rare to see one. The Gatorade bottle in the pic is 9 inches long to give it some perspective. Pearl/Chartreuce with Chartreuce Nibble was the only color I used today.

know thats a fishing report, great job, my dad called ,he said he drove out to crab, and fished off the bank with out much luck. you sure got some nice fish . whens the fish fry?

Great catch carpoop, me and yamadog are thinking about coming over to cedar and trying it out. We have never fished it but I have been wanting to go there for a long time. Do you fish Cedar that much we may need some pointers.:D

Not boating that potential 17" crappie probably hurts... but with the rest of the fish in the boat you had one heck of a day. Now you know there is big one still in there and it will make you want to go back that much more. Thanks for sharing that great bunch of fish.
