    Default Shelbyville 11-18-08

Put in at Wilbourn and fished the standing timber just west of the ramp.

ended up with 15 fish but the bite was slow, and light. fish were caught in 4 to 9 fow on the bottom, black and chartruse 1/8 oz. tight line.

Note to self: dont forget to check that the plug is back in the boat!
its been a long time sense i've done that.

Sounds like a decent day, better than being at work. What is the water temp up there?

We werent as far north as Wilborn. Water temp is 40 around coal shaft.

Bite was on jigs in 4 - 9 also there but they were hammering it.

Did you catch any on the pilings @ the railroad bridge? How many on the standing timber?

The temp was 40-42 degrees, and I did'nt fish the railroad bridge at all. I had a thought to go to Beckets cove, after hearing you did so well at coalshaft I wish I had gone.
Its going to be a couple weeks before I can go again now.
