Thread: Shelbyville 10/16/08

I got to the lake around 1:30 pm an by 2 pm I had my first limit . I stayed till 4 pm and caught at least 2 more limits . The fish are still real active . The water temp was 42.6 degrees . All fish were caught 5 to 10 feet deep on red and chartreuse and chartreuse 2 inch tubes on 1/16 ounce chartreuse jigs .The fish pictured with the adult beverage bumped the line at 14 inches and the smallest was 10 3/4 inches . The 5 under were 9 3/4 inchs and a little bigger . I wanted to get to the lake earlier but I didn't get home from Chicago until 2 am and I woke up around 10:30 am . I just couldn't get myself moving . Must be an age thing .

nice catch Kevin, you had two of em that were real chunks....I'll let you know on Tuesday if the bites still on...
