Thread: Shelbyville Today

All I can say is im really really glad I got up from my nap after basektball practice today to go fishing! Got on the water a little after one, shortly after, had my limit. I honest to goodness (I think thats a word haha) then proceeded to catch and release over 50 ten plus inch crappies! Steve is correct, the crappie are on fire! Must have caught around 100 fish today.

Then, when I was leaving the lake, went to start my truck and wouldnt you know it my starting cylinoid that has been going out...went out. Had to get towed haha...


Had several really nice fish... thanks to the vets for doing what they did, both of my grandpas were vets and im proud to say it. Like CX said, if it wasnt for them we might not beable to fish on days like today.

Nice catch b-man...i thought you might get you a deer today..should have been with us you would have go tone..first cove we pulled into had a ten point buck just wandering around amongst the laydowns in the water..didnt mind us fishing within 20 yards off him..think he was trying to show us where they were!! man them deer are goofy fellers...

Tyler thats a great lookin mess of fish. I just gave away four bags to a guy I work with.
I guess I am going to have to go tomorrow morning and replenish them.

Way to go birdman I no how you feel I got to the ramp the other day and had a brake line rusted through. No brakes had to go back and get it the next day.
