    Did everyone see the new regulations? not sure if they are much different or not?
    The Lake will have a new Crappie daily creel limits of 5 fish under 10 inch and 10 fish 10 inch or over effective on April 1st.

    Just wondering...

    I never have understood why they put a limit on crappie that should be under 10 inches before you can keep them.
    Look at the other states that have limits where the fish have to be over ten before you can keep them. Their sizes are much greater.
    Thats IL for ya, people making rediculios decisions. I would think it should be either ten over ten or 15 over ten, but who am I to say?

    What they told me was need some smaller fish out to have more food for the bigger fish ---Theres days here you might catch 9.5 -9.9 fish all day to get 8 or 9-[ 10+]
    I know in FL. in the winter the wardens harp all the time about throwin the smaller one,s back for that same reason

    it is a response from everyone freaking out during summertime when they catch a ton of shorts...careful what you wish for folks....but anyway thank god for weather warming up, think i might actually fish sunday and make some attractors tommorow

    I agree with X you would think they would want you to catch the bigger ones, and leave the smaller ones. Where going to meet at Gregs tomorrow and get busy on some sets and make a few jigs, it should be a good day.

    ohh yeah gonna see alot of complaining this season think cause they stuck with this limit for next 5 years

    I have always said that we should be able have at least one fish under ten, because it bothers me to turn a short fish back that is hooked real deep and then see it floating.
