    Default mounting a trasducer

Has anyone ever mounted a transducer in the hull of there boat? I was wondering if any epoxy from your local hardware store would work. Epoxy glue is all the same isn't it?

If your boat is fiberglass, any epoxy will work. doesn't work well on aluminum, though.

Silicone with a bolt, lock, and nut will work with your mount for aluminum.
