Thread: Lake Mattoon 12/31

Well used the trolling motor and fished the spot thats been producing best for us lately and fished it for a couple hours. Got 12 off of it but much bigger size. All over ten inches. My best 2 were 12 and a little over 12. Looks like ice fishing is next.

Way to go Birdman, sounds like the bite was a little better at Mattoon than we had at Shelbyville Lake. Haven't talk to my friend in a couple days but I know he's been over there fishing. His rig is and old brown Lowe boat with a 25 hp Evinrude motor.

Way to end the year with some nice slabs.

ken- No way was I going out today, if I did someone needs to hit me upside the head and put some sense in me!
