John... Nice catch I bet that white bass pulled your stringNeed to know a little information on Clinton such as size on crappie, creel limits, is there a white bass size limit, etc. The reason for asking, I'm looking for another cooling lake to fish because of water levels are at a all time low on Sangcris lake this year and the crappie have really slowed down in the past two or three years Any info. would help__ Thanks

crappie 9 inches limit 15
whitebass they group with stripers and hybrids--limit 10 only 3 over 17 inches
best areas right now are rt 48 and 14 bridges but crappie been off this week,i got theones up there and 3 more today thats it. both are way better wih a good north wind, winds been slow and from south and west last few days so crappie havent been near shoreline..
this pattern usualy stays good till bout february then changes.. if you get boat on lake you can usually do good on any main lake laydowns but i put my boat up for winter basically and just been shore fishing. ill break it backout in february for waleye tho
if you needmoreinfo just give me a shout..i usually fish the lake bout 100 days a year so have a prety good idea of whats going on with most species at most times
