Thread: Mattoon 12/29

Well dad had to work today and I only had practice till 11 so ate and got ready and was on the water by 12:30 fished 2 spots that produced the other day and got like 2 keepers off of them...then I was running to our best spot and there went the motor, locked up and went pop pop pop. No more big motor trolled over to the last spot and it was a good one. Got 13 from it for a total of 15 keepers. Smallest 9.75 biggest around 12 with 6 or 7 eleven inchers. I dont know what ill do now without the motor

Nice mess of fish, I never could tell the difference between a lake Shelbyville crappie fillet or a Mattoon lake fillet after it hit the hot grease:D Hope you get your motor straighten out. Looks like this cold weather coming will let you, without to much down time.
