    Default Shelbyville 12/28/07

Wind and rain for the most part today. Started out in Lithia end up back in some of the main lake pockets were we know two or three brush tops hide and that was the ticket. Had my son Kenton with me today and he was a real trooper. I ask him if we should bring the heater and he said I don't think we will need it. After the first ran shower and the last pair of dry gloves we both wished we would have brought it. We had to work for what we caught and that wasn't many. We only ended up with 11 all day put we had a great time. We have eaten are fare share of fish this year so we turned them all back. Did get a few pictures, enjoy!

Any child that will sit out in a boat in this kind of weather really must enjoy fishing. Glad to see you are still catching some. Is there any ice at all in the lower end of the lake? Also, did you get your fish on jigs? What color?

This is what memories are made of. Keep it up and that child will have a life time of memories! Just remember that those 100 fish days make alot better memories than those 10 fish days!!Ha!Ha! Way to go!!:D

Thanks guys , he's fun to fish with and a great help with the boat. Crappieken- No ice on the south end except way back in some coves Black & chartreuse and red & chartreuses were the colors that work the best for us. Partly Sunny high of 40* today winds 5-10 mph much better than yesterday hope the fish think so to.
