lake Shelbyville report 12/24/07
Merry Christmas everyone,
Myself and a client fished Shelbyville Friday, started at about 12:00 quite about dark. Wind was 20-25 mph for the most part of the afternoon. Water temp. around 34-35* Started out catching white bass off a underwater point, had seven nice white bass out of forty or so we caught. They moved and so did we, ran up to Sand creek and start looking for the shad on the depth finder. Found the shad in about 10-12 ft. of water were the wind had blow en around a point, and it didn't take long to find the crappie. We had our limit in hour and half and could have caught more, didn't see other boat in that area. The bite was soft for most part, every so often you would fill a good thump.
