Thanks everyone, ended up buying an aluminum trailer step by Northern tool and equipment, second choice would have been the hitch stairs mentioned by crappie24, third choice would have been the trick step. Say crappie24 I don't know you but one of my best friends used to mention you all the time. Just lost Stan a month and a half ago to cancer. I don't go or will never go fishing where I don't think of him. For those of you who have a best friend you fish with, treasure them, life isn't the same without them.

@ Mudman, Yes Stanley was a good friend that held the passion for crappie fishing. Lots of memories at Cogen Tate and Lyle where we talked about the thump! He would get so excited talking about it he couldn't concentrate. LOL Fished with him a few time on the Ville. I went to his visitation and paid my respect to his family and friends. One good old boy Stanley was!! We had talked about going over to Mark Twain but his health deteriorated fast. Maybe sometime we can meet up and fish the Ville. Talk about old Stanley. And catch a few for him!!! @ bowhunter012463 AKA Pat! Likewise my friend! Likewise!

I put a ezstep from Texas on my trailer last spring, I can fish by my self again. Im a big guy and these steps are rock solid. My knees are bad and getting worse. It was to the point I couldn't get in or out and it sucked. These steps are great! https://www.easystepsystem.com/
