    OK, I've lived in Illinois for almost 80 years and have NO idea what the hell those critters are. What are they?

    Can you freeze them and use them later in the year

    Fish them like you would a worm or minnow, same for rigging. I've used them on jugs and trot lines also.
    Never tried freezing them.
