Well Benelli made Sunday better, the wife and I picked up his remains from a local funeral home that put him in a beautiful urn with a memorial card with his paw print and a lock of hair, just knowing he is home again makes life a whole lot better.

My condolences, we grow so attached...I've sprinkled ashes from my last two hunting labs at our Duck club and every season I recall the good times and talk to them.

I have a carbon copy of your dog laying by my feet. You have my condolences!

I'm so sorry. I can't imagine a world without dogs. They are just as much a part of our family as any 2 legged child.

My condolences as I went through this back in early July. Cherish the memories, and start new ones with a pup. I have to agree with my pops, if God made any mistakes, it was that we outlive our cherished 4 legged family members.

Yes very sorry to hear of your loss, I also have lost 2 labs that were a big part of our family, those labs are great family friends and members

I have not been through the passing of a family pet in many years.
My yellow lab turned 11 yesterday, he has his aches and pains of 10 busy duck seasons, and hundreds of thousands of retrieves from ducks, to bumpers to tennis balls. He loves his job, and we love him. He is the baby of the family, and I can not imagine the pain that your going through now. God speed and take it one day at a time. When the time is right a new lab will adorn your home and the spoiling will restart.
