Default Brush piles on lake Shelbyville.

Has anyone heard anything about the brush pile barricade meeting we had awhile back. Or did it get vetoed. I thought there was a big interest at the meeting. Should we bring it back to the house for another vote.. What's your thoughts.

Its on hold, because the Corps is coming up with a Universal plan for the St. Louis district rather than each lake having their own policy.

Someone can correct me if I am wrong. But more or less establishing rules for dropping your own brush piles in the lake. Very specific rules would apply but I would defer to someone who went to the meetings (which from what I hear wasn't too many).

It will be a good thing once they get all the I's dotted and the T's crossed. The AC of E want to know all the coordinates of where you placed them for approval and to assure everyones safety. They will not published everyones drops. It will be free but they want you to make a donation to the friend of Lake Shelbyville. There was about 30 of us at the first meeting and about half of that at the second meeting and only hookit and myself at the third meeting. No wonder they are dragging their feet about this. It will not stop anyone from making and placing their own habitats in the lake but it would make some feel better that they can do it legally.
Lets go soak a line. Pat
