Headed down now. Gonna have bad weather, rain and up to 15mph wind. Wife wanted to go, so i'm taking her. It will be interesting to say the least.

i dont fish crappie usa....next year i will....if nate is up for it we will hit stockton in 3 weeks and fish the crappie master event

Ok....So we got there late Thursday night. Talked to Brian C. (aka crappie24) for a minute then went to bed. Got up at 5, couldnt get the wife up to go pre fish. Went out with Brian for a while, marked some waypoints to fish, fished a while and came in. Oh yeah, it rained the entire time. Saturday comes, wife catches the first fish and it was a keeper. It was raining and cold all day. She didnt catch another fish all day. I caught the rest off the front spider rigging. I used a white jig head with a minnow for most fish, and a purple/chart tube for some. Our big fish was 1lb. we had some fish die, caught some dinks. We ended up with 6 weighable fish for 4.98 pounds. Wife was a trooper and I'm proud of her, she had to pee since 9 am and toughed it out all day.
