    Default Ice Fishing Today

Hogster33 and I teamed up today and I took him out ice fishing. We caught a decent amount of fish today and ended up keeping 20 big gills 8 inches or bigger and one crappie. Any gill smaller we released. We caught some nice bass as well. We fished anywhere form 4ft of water to 18ft of water and caught them everywhere. Majority of fish were caught in 7ft of water just off bottom. Waxies on little nipper jigs and just ice jigs did the trick. Hogster caught 2 giant redear which was nice to see. All in all it was a good day, glad we caught some fish!

Tyler nice catch . My brother and I went to a farm pond S/E of Pana around 3:30 pm today . They bit good for about an hour and then they shut down . We caught 20 nice gills on wax worms 7 to 8 feet deep . I had a big channel cat on for a little bit but he was to much for the 4 lbs test line . The ice was 7 inches thick .

    See ya Kevin ><)))*>

Ol pops done taught me to well! I puts a whoopin on him about every time out now :D sorry dad but its true haha! But I guess thats when you know that im lucky to have an awesome dad like I do who taught me very well and im very thankful for that!

Hogster lost a couple nice crappies at the top of the hole...that rascal. I even got home in time to see my Green Bay Packers turn a butt whoopin into one of the greatest combacks ever only to lose om a horrible play! I guess I still got my vikes and Farve!

Ice was 8.25 inches on the pond accordin to the handy dandy tape measure.

First, the Cardinals, now the Packers and Vikings. There is no hope for you, Birdy.

Tyler, had a blast fishing yesterday, hope to do it again sometime. Pig is right, I am not staying home to watch football when we got good ice.
