Been like that for a about a week. Carlyle is still over 6 feet high and Shelbyville is about 9 feet high, still alot of water to get rid of before the spring rain. Looks like the corps might keep it at 10,000 for awhile to get both lakes closer to "normal".

01/08/2010 12:00 612.74 This was the lake elevation for Shelbyville at noon today. It is still almost 13 feet above normal summer pool and 18 feet above normal winter pool.

I see I have a typo and left a 1 off of the 9, Shelbyville is about 19 high of winter pool.

    Talking carlyle

My gift to you guys down there is a couple months of flooded parking lots. We have had flooded conditions all dang summer, fall and now winter, up here at shelbyville. Hopefully it will get down to winter pool by the 1st of March. Oh yeah, thanks for all the walleye, sauger and muskies, that are heading upstream for the winter!!! I think it's a fair trade!:
