Thread: mattoon stickers

Does anyone know if the 2010 Lake Mattoon stickers are available and if so, where at? I sold my old boat with the sticker on it.

They are not usually availible until March.

If i go out now will anyone be checking? Does it make any difference that I bought one this year but now I have a different boat? I tried calling the lake office but no answer, I figured they are closed for the season.

I do see the Lake Policeman in the area from time to time. I don't know his policy this time of the year. I do know I start fishing before the sticker are availible in the early Spring but I have the last several year's stickers on my boat and I am often the first person to buy a sticker every year. I am sorry I can't be more helpful. If you already bought a sticker this year, they have it on their records.

You may be able to try Kurt Stretch, he is the superintendent of the parks department 234-3611. I know the parks department used to take care of the lake properties. If he doesn't take care of it any more he can probably point you in the right direction.
