Fished from the mouth of the Hot Ditch to the West bouy line. Temps at the ditch mouth were 51/52, everywhere else 48/49. Still appears to be about 1 foot over normal and real clean. Just me and one other boat in the entire cold water area. He was corkin' about 18" on main lake laydowns and I was fishin' brushpiles in 13-18' on mainlake ledges and about halfway back in coves. We checked in with each other at the end of the day and he said he had his limit with several 12" fish. I culled a limit from about 20 keepers, best 7 were 6# 14 oz. Shallow OR Deep, can't beat that. I fished 1/4 oz white head, blue/pearl body. Good luck.

Did you happen to notice if anyone was fishing off the dam ? I used to a few years ago and would catch a mixed bag of fish on minnows . It was best with a North wind .

Yes, there were at least three. Two near the spillway, one about half way.

Thanks for the information. That is a lot of info. That's what I love about us crappie fishermen. If they get into them they want everyone else to go out and have some fun too. Thanks again!
