Thread: Good ol Yishin 12/11/09

Dad and I fished this morning and it was beautiful! Fished 8-11:15. Fog comin off the water and frost on the grass making a nice crunch when you walk..love it! We had a great day and landed 15 or so sauger/walleye/and saugeyes. We got 6 keepers. 4 Walleye and 2 saugers. 5 Males and 1 Female. We lost several really good fish...bigger than any we landed, but thats how it always goes! Dad got the biggest...dag gummit! Here is the pics!

Yup, them's some niceuns. My ol Pop usually catches the biggest fish too. While he is asleep, in the back of the boat, draggin his crappy jig fulla moss. And it happens that way every time. Go figures.

nice fish, I would like to catch some of those saugers sometime.

One of my good buddies is the exact same way every time we go fishing. I spend half the day getting HIM unsnagged and he ends up catching more and bigger fish...hahah

These were caught below the dam at shelbyville...we found one spot where they bit real well on a very weird retrieve in. To be honest...we didnt see any other sauger or walleye caught while we were there untill we left one was caught.

Those are some nice ones... Congrats on the catch!!!
