if you go to springfield best bet is to stay in the hot water cove. id honestly stick closer to home if ya know what i mean
Last year around this same time Luke and I did go when the wind was close to 30mph. We had to wade out into the 40 degree water to get the boat on the trailer. The waves were so bad it lifted the boat over the center guides and wedged it between the side guides and the winch. Now I know why those guys on the Mississippi River have side guides that go almost the whole length of the trailer. They refer to it as leading the cattle thru the gate.
