    Default Little Grassy 11-15-09

Caught some beautiful fish today at LG. Most of them black. They sure were pretty and most were pretty large. Size range from 10.5 to 14 inches with alot of 11's and 12's. Caught them way deep. 20-22 feet on Chartreuce jigs with nibble. Pretty neat seeing them come up out of the deep clear water. Grassy doesnt get alot of crappie pressure and I would rate the population as fair. But if you can find them they are usually nice fish.

Man!!! Nice fish CP. Looks like I may have to try Little Grassy also. Nothing better than deep fishing in my book. I enjoy the hunt. I feel that anybody can catch them in 5 feet or less bit when they are deep it kind of seperates the boys from the men. Great job!!!!

Yes thats my trusty ironing board that I have cleaned fish on for 10 years. Its not fancy...but it works! DKB if you like the thrill of the hunt you might give this lake a try. It will test you for sure...but its usually very rewarding when you can find some...they are really nice fish. You need a 9.9 HP though.

I will definately try this. I will come up with a motor somehow. I know a couple of people with one that I could hang on the back. Can you have the 25 HP on there but use trolling motor only? Also......I will be hooking up a new Lowrance this week.......GPS and all! No more forgetting my handheld at home CP.
