Default New to the site and helpful hints needed for lake shelbyville

Just looking for some fishing tips for crappie on lake shelbyville? Maybe some parts of the lake where they are biting and how deep and what color they are hitting on? How is the fishing up in the rivers now that the water is up? Any hints or tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks and good luck to all!

Welcome, plenty of SVILLE advice on here. Do a search on this state board and read and read and read. Then get a side imager and scan and scan and scan for brush and trees. This lake is tough for those not familiar with it because it is a flood control lake and not only do you have to know where structure is you have to relate to flooded conditions or low water. The beaver piles I always find to produce fish were in 15 fow this year and never did hold a fish from spring until now. The water has been high for most of the year. Some years water is low and these piles don't have any water on them. Steve Welch can show you everything there is to know about using your electronics, and locating fish and what patterns to find biting fish.
