Default Crappie fishing looks better all the time

Just read some of Lampe's articles on prairiestateoutdoors. Sounded quite disappointing for hunters. He said fall turkey harvests are down again this year, upland game prospects look dim, and duck and goose hunting has been poor. I still hunt a few squirrels and doves, but spend most of my fall leisure time on the water looking for those specks. Anybody do any good this year on turkeys, ducks, geese, or deer?

Bambi is safe with me but my squirrel dogs are doing great, I have my beagles ready for rabbit season Saturday morning, and my coon dogs ready for Tuesday night's open season. Some days, I hunt 2-3 times a day this time of the year. I reckon the crappies are safe as far as I am concerned.
