What a great day to be on the water. Bite is still very deep. All of my fish came from at least 12 feet. Color didn't matter too much. Anything with some chartreuse produced. Really odd thing about today was the number of shorts. Had at least 25 fish between 6 - 8 inches. Brought home 6 overs all at least 11" with the biggest a bit over 13. It was feast or famine. No size or great size. I didnt have any of those 9 3/4 to fill my under limit. The water was stained but really not too bad. You could see 4 / 5 inches pretty easily and I was hanging in the Eagle area.
On a side note, remember to be careful with those hooks. Had one snap back when I took one of the nicer fish off and it went all the way to curve of the hook into my thumb. Nothing a pair of pliers and good pain tolerance couldnt deal with but sure wish I'd had a bandage or two.
Good fishn,
Roger
