Ken Wilson of most of you know him by Fishfryed is a very good friend of mine and we give each other our overflow guide trips. He is very competant especially on the south end. Actually I bow down to him on that south end but I am gaining knowledge. Two years ago I didn't have three waypoints south of the Findley bridge but now I have over a hundred and know quite a bit about the ledges down there. Just need to gain knowledge on the many many coves. He lives in Shelbyville and spends all his time on that south end.

Well I got him a two day trip with some guys from Chicago. I took two he took two both days. He beat me both days but I was respectable. He just knows that south end. The skill level of the clients has a lot to do with your success each day and fishing very deep does have a learning curve.

He likes that south end and always tells me he had a tourney bag today. My opinion is that the ledge fish can be huge and yes they can win a tourney but the river fish are easier to locate if the conditions are right. They will always beat the lake fish. There is a tourney this Saturday and I don't think the conditions will be right up the creeks with them being up five feet look out for the deep ledge fishermen. Our fish are still biting.
