You are right it is to bad that Shelbyville isn't on anyone's radar for a tourney. We are blessed and condemned that there are no big towns close that can come up with the money to host a tourney. So they opt for Lake Decatur instead which is a town of 200,000 and can afford the 6500.00 fee to host a tourney. Lake Decatur isn't even in the same league as Shelbyville for a crappie lake and with the continued dredging and removing structure it will get even worse. Just my opinion as I am sure Decatur residents have their own opinion as well.
We have been to Deatur once and hope we dont have to ever go back.Me and Levi have been doing alright we are a three man team now can,t afford to do it alone any more.Let me know when you are coming down maybe we can get together.

crappie24, nice meeting you too. Really wanted to fish where we saw you last. Always produces well for us...luckily the trolling motor wasnt much of a serious problem and fixed now. Thanks on telling me where asa is...

There is a serious lack of structure in Decatur and there aren't many fish coming out of the river either. I am surprised Mt. Vernon didn't put up the money for crappiemasters to come back to rend.

frank- fishhook is the first ramp on the kaskaskia. Or the first ramp you see when you start going up the river through the harbor
