    Default Deer Processor

Can anyone recommend a good deer processor near Centralia? I don;t mind going down to Mount Vernon or anywhere 30 miles around.

    Behrmann Meat Processing in Albers

I always have liked there slim jims, brats, breakfast sausage and thought it was a clean well run place. They also have a truck in the back you can drop a tagged deer off in after hours.

    Default Behrmans

I agree with cropy,,we've used behrmans for years...Take 64 towards stl get off on exit 34 (albers) turn right follow to stop light at tracks, turn right its up on the left after the turn....They shrink wrap everything, I have stuff left from last year thats still fresh....618-248-5151...Everything is good but they make the best deer bacon and its usually cheaper than store bought bacon....

I'm gonna have to agree with the others and recommend Behrmann's... Have never had a bad piece of meat from them, be it deer and anything else.. They are great!

Thanks folks! Albers is on the way home so that should be easy. and dropping off at night is a great benefit, no need to ice her down this time of year.
