This years Classic is being held on Columbus Lake, Mississippi. This is on the Tennessee-TomBigbee Waterway. There is Three Lakes we can fish each being divided by lock and dam. Never fished these lake so I'm sure for the first couple days I will be using my Humminbird Side Scan. I have been looking for maps of the lakes, but have come up empty. This is my second classic and the first one was really fun. Met a lot of nice people.

I would think if lakes big enough for a crappie classic that maybe some real fishing/sports store in area would have some maps, maybe worth asking around or goggle stores & drop a dime or so on a call.
I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.

Exclamation you've got to get google earth !!!!!!!

what you need to do is go to Watch. Learn. Dominate. Bass Fishing at BassFishin.Com

they have a video on mapping programs such as google earth. watch it,it will show you how useful it can be to us anglers . it also shows you were and how to get a program to overlay usgs topo maps over the google earth sat. image. I checked out columbus lake with it and it has very good sat. images of it. the web site also has a link to a program that lets you know the current water level of a body of water. which could be very handy if they pull water alot . I believe some even tell you the amount of water that is flowing through the dam. There's also the program microsoft maps, which i believe will come up through Bing. It has a feature on it thats called birds eye view. Thats a great feature because it allows you to see very close up images of stuff. With it you can actually see laydowns and stuff along shorelines. I highly recommend checking out the video !!!! it will show you the potential usefulness of the programs.

Omg. All the water looks like chocolate milk. Have not caught a fish yet, had some bites. Been asking locals but no one is sharing ANY info. Absolutely no maps, evedentally no demand for them. The company that does them told the state they would have to pay out of pocket, I guess you know how that turned out. I'll keep ya updated.
