Thread: Crappie World Magazine

Does anyone know of a store in East Central Illinois that sells Crappie magazine? I use to buy it in Walmart, but have checked the stores in Charleston, Mattoon, Shelbyville, Springfdield and Decatur and can not find it on the shelf. I have even been to some of the large bookstores and can't find it. I refuse to subscribe to it as I did in the past as I failed to receive issues and what did arrive always came late. Any help would be appreciated.

You may want to try Crappie Angler Magazine. 6 Issues @$20.00. Associated with Grizzly Jigs and Crappie Masters. Everybody seems pleased with it.

Do you have a link to it? Like everyone else Crappie World isn't cutting it.

Crappie Ken, I will check the IGA store in sullivan they use to have them but i havent checked for a while. I will go tomorrow and let you know

I've been looking for it for the last few months and haven't found it . I seen the guy who stocks magazines in stores in and around my area and was told they are not stocking it any more .

Thanks for all the responses. I don't understand why they are no longer stocking the magazine. The Walmart in Mattoon carries a magazine on salt water fishing, two or three on pike and muskie fishing, two on Salmon/trout fishing, one on walleye fishing, several on bass fishing, one on flyfishing, several on bowfishing and nothing on crappie fishing. I bet in Illinois there are more crappie fishermen than all the others mentioned previously combined.

Ken I live in northern IL and it is not being stocked up here either..My two favorite newsstands/stores, Wally world etc. Yes I already get crappie angler magazine great reading but being kinda nosy thought I would check c. world but nobody got it. One news place said some mags are skiping some months as cost saving???????????
