I haven't been to Horseshoe in over a month. The last time I was there I did pretty good on old Bend road. SouthWest end of the lake. Just take the road all the way as far as it will go around the lake and start fishing. I don't have a boat so I fish from shore. If you have a boat I have been told the duck blinds are very good but I have never fished them. Good luck and let us know how it goes if you go out.
